Today, the Seattle, Washington funeral doom behemoths Bell Witch have shared a ten minute excerpt of their hotly anticipated 86 minute track, “Mirror Reaper”. The song is the followup to 2015’s gargantuan Four Phantoms. Judging from the excerpt, “Mirror Reaper” somehow finds Bell Witch darker and even more foreboding than their past material. After all, the track is serving as a tribute to their former drummer, Adrien Guerra, who passed away in May of last year. Listen to the creeping, impenetrable mass of funeral doom below. I, for one, can’t wait to be listening to this on rain soaked October nights as the autumn breezes provide the exact right atmosphere.

Mirror Reaper is out 10/20 via Profound Lore Records.

Tis a perfect ‘amuse bouche’ prior to the main event. I’ll be so shocked if this isn’t in my ‘best of’ come year end. Is there any reason for the name/email/website form thingy above the preview?

Thanks for the heads up. I pressed a wrong button or something. We don’t need our readers sharing personal info on the interwebs.
And YES this thing sounds phenomenal so far. It actually might be more than what I was expecting.
