This summer, EMA will be releasing the followup to 2014’s The Future’s Void with her new album, Exile In the Outer Ring. Now, she has shared the album’s second single, “Breathalyzer”, with an accompanying video. The track dirges along with thick drone and occasional blasts of noise while EMA chants on about losing her shit in the backseat of a Camry. It adds a chilling atmosphere to the video which is little more than two people in the back of a car zoning the fuck out. Check it out below.

This is nasty! Any idea if the whole album is this good?

No idea but I really hope so. I can’t think of an album I’m anticipating more than this one right now.

This is definitely more claustrophobic than anything on The Future’s Void. Listening to this almost makes you feel like you’re running out of oxygen! I know I often do this in my posts but quick metal tip, Venenum – Trance of Death.

Yeah the singles so far have a lot weirder than I would’ve thought. And I’m on it!

    Shit. That was sick.

Soooo sick. It makes me think of what would happen if this strand of weeknd-esque r&b mixed with drone.
